As a first note, C9C is founded, owned, & operated by Nicole and Jordan Bowdish, twin sisters that grew up right here in the area! We’re committed to this community because we’ve been born and raised right here locally, on a hobby farm, so giving back to our lifelong community is one of our greatest passions: and while we went across the country in our young adult days, we’re here to stay, so you won’t be seeing us pack up and go anywhere anytime soon!

At the time of writing this post, Rosco just completed his first pet sitting booking with us, so he is going to show you around a pet sitting booking with C9C!
Preparing for Pet Sitting
First, we prepare the booking! Once we have you scheduled and taken care of, you will be sent our Pet Sitting Planning Form. This allows us to review all the what-ifs for care and ensure you are totally squared away with ALL notes of emergency planning, safety preparedness, protocol updates, and opportunity to talk on the phone if you have anything else you’d like us to review to make you comfortable. We typically get 3/5 comfort scores, because it is SO nerve-wracking leaving your pet, and it’s our job to earn that 5/5 trust when pet sitting your household.
After your Pet Sitting Check In Form, Jordan will personally follow up in a Private Thread with identified enrichment and management opportunities to further adjust your schedule of services. This consists of looking at the package and schedule you’d selected and planning activities to be completed within your scheduled services.
Your First Pet Sitting Service
We will conduct an intake process for each booking AND new clients. New clients will have received a Meet & Greet and a trial visit with a First Service Assessment to tend to everything logistically and behaviorally.
Then, at the start and end of your booking, you will see Pet Sitting Check In & Pet Sitting Check Out add-on services. These are refined protocols for identifying efficiency updates (so we can focus more on your pets), navigating household care, identifying care update needs, and assessing behavioral presentation of the pets. We will tend to your home and pets with careful guidance, with providers reporting back to management. This ensures we are ALL following instructions exactly as written and able to provide highly detailed care to your household.
Let the Fun Begin!
Included in your pet sitting at no extra charge, we will provide field trip outings, exercise, enrichment, sensory-based activities, and more to your household of pets. This gives them a genuine stay-cation of their own back home.
We will then message you to check in so you can let us know if any further updates are needed from us to keep you comfortable while away.
Finally, throughout the whole time, we always have a staff on-call to be of assistance should anything be needed for your household. This ensures we’re ready to go with any “what ifs” that occur and a GUARANTEE we will show up.
We work in team-based services, so providers are able to visit with your household 1-on-1 from the comfort of your own home and are coming into service refreshed and ready-to-go (rather than working as hobby sitters around the clock day in and day out, or without any back up in place).
Return Home Safely
Finally, once your booking ends, we will ensure you come home to a tidy home ready to get right to re-connecting with your family members!
Enjoy peace of mind with any delays—we will continue care automatically for any established bookings when your experience any mishaps extending your return home, so that you know your pets are covered until you walk back in the door.
